MoE Latest Update About Board Exam 2024
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has declared that starting in 2024, board exams will be held twice a year, enabling students to retain their best scores.
The new curriculum framework, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), is prepared, with textbooks rationalised syllabus for the 2024 academic session. Students in grades 11 and 12 must study two languages, with at least one being an Indian language.
The updated curriculum framework removes constraints on subject choices in classes 11 and 12, offering students greater flexibility.
The GSEB has aligned the Gujarat Board Exam 2024 pattern with the NEP 2020. A significant change includes a 10% increase in objective-type questions, rising from 20% to 30%, while the weightage of descriptive questions has decreased from 30% to 20%.
