What Is New Rationalised NCERT Book 2024-25?
New Rationalised NCERT Textbook means that the content in the textbooks for classes 9 and 10 has been reduced to make it easier for students to learn during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The National Education Policy 2020 OR NEP20 also emphasizes the importance of reducing the amount of content in textbooks and providing more opportunities for students to learn through hands-on experiences and creative thinking.
To achieve this goal, the NCERT has reviewed the textbooks for all classes and made changes based on the learning outcomes that they have developed.
The New Rationalised or Reduced NCERT Syllabus focuses on:
- Avoiding Overlapping: The government has ensured that there is no repetition or overlap of similar topics, or concepts in different subjects or classes, reducing the burden on students to learn the same thing repeatedly.
- Reducing Difficulty Level: The syllabus has been revised to make sure that the content is easily understood by students without requiring too much intervention from teachers. This will help students to learn on their own or with the help of their peers, making the learning process more efficient.
- Removing Irrelevant Content: The syllabus has been trimmed down by removing any content that is not necessary or irrelevant to the current situation. This ensures that students focus on learning relevant and useful information that will help them in the future.
The new edition of the textbooks for Class 10 has been reorganized to reflect these changes and make it easier for students to learn and understand things.
